5 Tools to Help You Find Your Career Purpose

"How can I get to a place where my career serves me rather than limits me?"

Some people believe that we all have a purpose in this life that needs to be fulfilled. Others think that purpose doesn't exist.

- Do you want to make a living doing something that makes you feel alive and satisfied every time you do it?

- Do you want to feel happy and fulfilled?

- Do you want to feel purposeful?

Then you must find something that gets you up in the morning. What truly motivates you in your life? What is the reason that brings you to where you are at this moment? That is what having purpose is all about.

There are numerous ways to find your purpose. A good place to start is by asking yourself these five questions.

  1. Who are your heroes?

  2. What do people come to you for the most?

  3. What would you do if you never had to work another day in your life?

  4. What do you easily take for granted?

  5. What are the things you treasured as a child?

Asking yourself probing self-reflective questions is an important method for uncovering the depth of your heart's true desires. This is an essential way to lead you to discover your purpose - in life and in your career.
